Speaker: Jake Marcellus, Executive Director of the Office of Enterprise Technology Solutions, Information Technology Category, Federal Acquisition Service
Jake Marcellus is the Executive Director of the Office of Enterprise Technology Solutions, Information Technology Category, Federal Acquisition Service. The Federal Acquisition Service provides buying platforms and acquisition services to federal, DoD, state and local governments for a broad range of items from office supplies to motor vehicles to information technology and telecommunications products and services. Jake provides executive leadership over a portfolio of acquisition solutions through which customer agencies procure around $4 billion in telecommunications and network services annually. These offerings include the Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions and Complex Commercial SATCOM Solutions (CS3) contracts, as well as the Wireless Mobility Solutions, Commercial Satellite Communications Solutions, and Earth Observation Solutions special item numbers on GSA’s Multiple Award Schedule. Jake is also an executive sponsor of the Federal Mobility Group, a governmentwide community of practice chartered under the Federal Chief Information Officers Council. Prior assignments include Department Of Defense (DoD) Mobility Portfolio manager where Jake delivered the first enterprise offering of tablet devices used for classified data processing. He also served in various leadership roles leading DoD Network Operations Enterprise architecture development and tools integration within the. Jake retired from the US Army as a Communications Officer, after 20 years of service. Jake graduated from Columbus State University with a degree in Computer Science and from FEI’s Leadership for a Democratic Society and the American University’s Key Executive Leadership Program. Jake resides in Maryland with his wife and two college-age children.more
