Valued members and attendees, the ITPA NCC Executive Board has reviewed the potential impacts of COVID 19 to the organization and to our upcoming March 26 and April 2 luncheon events. We are closely monitoring the situation, but as of right now, we believe that since our events are mostly smaller in scale and our core audience is local we are safe to continue as scheduled. Needed updates will continue to be posted here on our website.
Westwood Country Club has implemented new measures to ensure safety among their staff and guests. Additionally, we will recognize a “no handshaking” policy for the events.
Please contact any member of our Board with additional questions or concerns.
Our monthly luncheon meetings at the Westwood Country Club in Vienna, Virginia are typically held on the first Thursday of each month from October to May. Lunch is preceded by social networking time and followed by an informative guest speaker from the government or industry. All meetings are strictly on a not for attribution basis. Attendance normally ranges from to 60-100 persons. Please click below for detailed information about our monthly luncheon schedule.
Because we are situated in the heart of the United States Federal government, the ITPA luncheon guest speakers often feature the senior telecommunications and information technology leaders of the largest civilian and US Department of Defense agencies. This provides the unique opportunity for our members and affiliates to gain firsthand knowledge of federal telecommunications initiatives. These luncheons also provide an “off the record” (not for attribution) forum for industry and the federal government to exchange valuable knowledge and insight which ultimately supports the mission of the US Federal Government.
