The ITPA NCC Executive Board has reviewed the potential impacts of COVID 19 to the organization and the 2020/2021 season activities and therefore decided for the foreseeable future to cancel all in-person events unless otherwise stated. We are closely monitoring the situation, for possible changes but for now believe it is in the best interests of our valued board members, sponsors, membership, and attendees to move forward in a virtualized format. Needed updates will continue to be posted here on our website.
Please contact any member of our Board with additional questions or concerns.
Our monthly luncheon meetings have been postponed at the Westwood Country Club in Vienna, Virginia until further notice and COVID 19 health concerns have been alleviated. Our live meetings were typically held on the first Thursday of each month from October to May. Our prior lunch meetings were preceded by social networking time and followed by an informative guest speaker from the government or industry. We will provide additional updates as to when our in-person monthly luncheons will resume.
Because we are situated in the heart of the United States Federal government, ITPA’s monthly virtual events will feature senior-level telecommunication and information technology guest speakers from the largest civilian and US Department of Defense agencies. This provides a unique opportunity for our members and affiliates to gain firsthand knowledge of current and future federal telecommunications and IT initiatives. These virtual events provide a unique forum for industry and the federal government to exchange valuable knowledge and insights which ultimately supports the mission of the US Federal Government.
