The National Capital Chapter of the ITPA is the Washington, DC metropolitan area association of Telecommunications professionals. Our Officers and Board members are telecommunications and IT professionals from Industry and Government. Our mission is to:
We proudly support the Capital Area Food Bank, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and the USO of Metropolitan Washington. A donation is made to these organizations at the end of the year.
The ITPA NCC members support the National ITPA Historical Foundation through dues and member/sponsor donations, which includes financial support for the ITPA Hall of Fame Museum.
The ITPA NCC sponsors monthly luncheons for industry members and partners. These luncheons provide an opportunity for industry members and partners to demonstrate their support for local community charities while at the same time providing opportunities to raise the visibility of their organization amongst their partners, peers and potential customers.
The NCC of the ITPA provides opportunities for individual industry members to create and maintain new relationships amongst their peers, partners and customers. Members and guests include the management and senior leadership of many prominent telecommunications companies. As a tight-knit community in the Washington Metropolitan area, this provides a venue for networking with your peers for creating on-going business relationships and friendships.
The NCC ITPA provides opportunities for industry members and affiliates to serve on the NCC ITPA Board. Board leadership roles are transitioned annually, which permits members to gain valuable leadership and mentoring experience from some of the most senior members of the local telecommunications community.
