The ITPA NCC Board of Directors has been closely monitoring the latest developments of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our thoughts are with all of those who are currently impacted.
As of 03/16/2020, the Federal Government together with recent guidance from the CDC issued a new guideline that for the next 15 days, organizers should cancel or postpone any event over 10 people, to limit the spread of this novel coronavirus.
Given these guidelines, and in an effort to protect the safety of our board, audience, speakers and sponsors, we will be canceling the March 26 and April 2 luncheon events. Attendees who paid for an individual March luncheon registration may request a refund or apply their registration to a future luncheon. We will be evaluating options for our sponsors once this crisis passes and we can fully evaluate the costs and impact.
We are still monitoring the situation for our May Luncheon, June Annual Dinner and have not made any decisions about those events as of right now, but will notify all if there are any changes to those events.
We will continue to receive guidance from federal, local and state authorities, and will adjust plans as necessary.
