Amy M. Fadida

Ms. Fadida, with over forty years of management and leadership in the telecommunications and information technology industry, is the owner, President,and Chief Executive Officer of A.M. Fadida Consulting, launched in October 1997. The firm focuses on a diverse group of government and commercial organizations, particularly those systems integrators and IT professional services firms serving the US government, and provides clients with strategies and tactics for growth through business development, capture management, sales and marketing support services, operations, organizational assessments and recommendations for performance improvements, strategic alliances, and other teaming arrangements, along with support in the areas of proposal and contract management and human capital. Ms. Fadida advises business owners and senior management teams to drive winning decisions in a rapidly changing marketplace.

In her last corporate assignment, Ms. Fadida served as the Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President for Corporate Business Development at VIACK Corporation. She joined the company as a member of its executive team after having provided her consulting services to the Chairman and CEO of the company to develop the strategy for penetration of the US government market through the firm’s design, development, and deployment of unique secure collaboration solutions at the desktop. Her responsibilities included all external and internal functions driving corporate growth and revenue generation, including long-term strategic business development, capture management, and strategy, program management and proposal development, contract management, sales and operations, market research, product marketing/product development/product management, corporate and marketing communications, strategic quality initiatives, client services and support, client development and training..

Previous executive management positions at IT professional services firms held by Ms. Fadida include: serving as Senior Vice President, Business Development at DigitalNet where she was responsible for all business development, sales, and marketing activities. DigitalNet provided systems integration, systems architecture, engineering, network planning and implementation, application development, help desk and other desktop support, data center implementation, and management; serving as an officer of Perot Systems Government Services as Senior Vice President of Corporate Business Development and Sales. Perot Systems provided enterprise architecture, capital planning, human capital consulting, systems integration, architecture and systems design, web services, application development, data center management, staffing and operations of help desks, and full life cycle support of deployed systems; serving a member of the Executive Committee and Senior Vice President for Corporate Development at SOZA & Company, Ltd., (later acquired by Perot Systems), where she was responsible for driving revenue, partnerships, alliances, and corporate growth strategies. SOZA provided Information Technology professional services, including enterprise architecture, systems architecture, design and implementation, applications development, web design, and implementation, data center operations and maintenance, help desk support, and desktop services and management; serving as Senior Vice President at Planning Technologies, a network engineering, and professional services firm, responsible for all sales and marketing; serving as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Automated Research Systems, a small IT professional services firm supporting the US government.

Ms. Fadida began her career in the high-tech industry in 1978, when she joined the C&P Telephone Company of Maryland, and moved swiftly into sales and marketing positions supporting U.S. government agencies. She concluded her 20 years in the telecommunications industry as General Manager at Lucent Technologies Government Solutions, where she was responsible for a P&L of approximately $300M.

Ms. Fadida’s career has been one of tireless service in the government marketplace, resulting in a unique depth and breadth of influential contacts in the industry. In 1995, she was recognized for her contributions to government and industry when she won the prestigious Fed 100 Award. She is an active member and corporate sustaining sponsor of AFCEA International, serving on the AFCEA International Executive Committee, Board ofDirectors, Governance Committee and Nominating Subcommittee, Technology Committee, Small Business Committee, and previously on the Strategy Committee. Ms. Fadida serves on the Board of the Independent Telephone Pioneers Association, National Capital Area. Ms. Fadida has also served on the Board of the National Institute of Urban Search and Rescue. She also served on the Board ofDirectors of GEIA through 2008, when the association merged with ITAA and AeA, which became TechAmerica, and is now the Professional Services Council, in which Ms. Fadida’s firm holds membership. Ms. Fadida is a corporate member of several other key industry-government associations, including the American Councils of Technology (ACT) and its associated Industry Advisory Council where she is actively involved in a few Communities of Interest, AFFIRM, Arizona Tech Council, National Contracts Management Association, HIMSS, and theNational Defense Industrial Association. Ms. Fadida was a founding member of the Washington DC Technology Council, serving on its Board of Directors until it merged into the DC Economic Partnership in early 2008. She has served on other Boards of small and emerging companies as well as on the Board of Directors of the Alzheimer’s Association of the National Capital Region. Ms. Fadida attended the University of Maryland and completed further coursework at Montgomery College, University of DC, and Penn State University. She is currently enrolled at the University of Maryland University College for ongoing studies of interest.
