Thelma Barker

Thelma Barker is a Director and Sr. Client Partner for the Department of Defense Federal Sales at Comcast Government Services. She joined the company in June 2019.

Prior to joining Comcast, Ms. Barker served as Director of Sales, Department of Defense Federal Sales at CenturyLink Government Services. Under her leadership teams of sales professionals consulted and partnered with the Departments of the Military and the DoD Fourth Estate to support IT modernization initiatives. Ms. Barker has over 20 years of experience in leadership, sales and marketing and business development focused on the Federal Government.

Ms. Barker began her technology career with Sprint International based in Guam and focused on data services in the Pacific Rim. In addition, she worked in the Sprint Enterprise Medium Business and Sprint Government Services Divisions.

In addition to her service to the ITPA NCC she is a past Vice President of Operation for AFCEA DC and currently services on the Board of Directors of AFCEA DC.
